“This is it. Fight like hell.”

Hugh Macleod’s art inspires me to make good decisions.

Not safe decisions. Not easy decisions. Good decisions.

I want to quit my job to focus on magick.

At work, I like teaching people and designing classes. I’ve thought about starting a business developing training for companies. If not for magick taking all my free energy, I probably would.

I think about that project. My favorite non-magickal one. And I think “This is it. Fight like hell.” But I can’t find the passion.

Then I think about an energy healing business. It’s the magick project that least interests me. I think about all the scut work, doing the same healing techniques every day. I think about getting rejected by people who want something more well-known like Reiki.

I think “This is it. Fight like hell.” The passion comes easily.

This is it. Fight like hell. Make the hard choice.

I’m quitting.

You’re quitting? Wow, that’s exciting news! I’m glad you made the decision to pursue your passion. Life is too short to waste precious years doing something that doesn’t excite you.

As someone more then once told me, “Discover your passion and go with that.”

Now that it’s all done, it feels easy, I’m relaxed. Doing it was scary. I connected 3 unconscious areas of resistance (the lizard brain, if anyone’s been reading Seth Godin lately) to my conscious mind before I could make the call. I’ll post about that soon, too.

    Thanks for the encouragement!
