Interview: Ethereal Software, Spirits, and Direct Magick

You found my old blog. Thanks for visiting! For my new writing, visit mikesententia.com.

Greg Carlwood of The Higherside Chats has interviewed Lon Milo Duquette, Jason Miller, and many other interesting magick practitioners. A couple weeks ago, he interviewed me. We explored what manifesting tells us about the nature of time, how spirits form a society, and a bunch of other great topics.

I’m working to finish the Healing Lab website, so no post this week. But enjoy the interview, and leave a comment here with any questions you have or topics you’d like more on.

Hey Mike, very cool interview. I like how you explain the rainbow, it sounded poetic. I have a few questions.

How do I know if my ethereal muscles are awake or dormant? If I’m naturally sensitive and intuitive, does that mean they’re probably awake and it just requires practice? Is the ethereal software the actual spirits or the information you receive from the spirits? And then what are the sensory connections for?

    Thanks, Julie

    • Good question. Short answer is: You probably have some ethereal muscles active, some partially active, and some dormant. Through practice, more will awaken, but this is a slow process. There are also techniques to awaken them, and when I started doing that I found a ton more ethereal muscles than I thought were there. Awakening them, and developing the techniques to awaken them, took close to a decade. I’ll post more about this at some point.

Both ethereal software and spirits can send you information. It’s tricky to tell the difference, because ethereal software can project the image of a spirit when it communicates, similar to how computer software can put a character on the screen. But don’t worry too much about it, it doesn’t matter whether you’re talking with spirits or software for most work.

Sensory connections are for seeing (or feeling) the ethereal structures we work with. They’re how I find and interact with ethereal muscles, spirits, the biofield for energy healing, and pretty much everything else we discuss here. Sensory connections are the first technique of Direct Magick.

Haha great interview. You have a rather didactic style when you speak.

    Nice!

Good morning Mike. I’m a body worker and lately I have had a spirit wanting to take over and help. So occasionally I let him. The good is that he does a great job. The client is always happy. The bad is that ultimately I take on some of the clients ailments. How can I better protect myself?… Or is that possible?
